If you want a bread-based stuffing; onions, garlic,celery,mushrooms and definately sage for the herb. Yum.
I've tried the same thing as above with a whole lemon and a handful of rosemary or thyme. Make sure you pierce the lemon with a knife first and you'll have very tasty chicken throughout.
Sage and onion stuffing. You can also stick some rosemary and a half of a lemon in the cavity; it is very fragrant and very good!
