The stuffing recipe I got wanted chicken bouillian but i only have cans of chicken broth can i use the can?

instead and how much of the can should i use?The stuffing recipe I got wanted chicken bouillian but i only have cans of chicken broth can i use the can?
eddy--- You can use chicken broth to make

your stuffing. HOW DO I KNOW !!!

I made stuffing for our Thanksgiving dinner

to day and it turned out just fine.

The bouillon might have more flavor because it is made by simmering the chicken bones with a small amount of meat

on them for a long period of time. And the broth is made from boiling the chicken

pieces for a shorter period of time.Lets

face it they are both made from less valuable pieces of chicken like the backs , necks ect.

But I know broth will work because I made

good stuffing just a few hours ago. jim b

Add enough broth to the stuffing until you are satisfied with the consisity.Remembering the bread will soak up the broth while cooking. The stuffing recipe I got wanted chicken bouillian but i only have cans of chicken broth can i use the can?
you can use canned broth, I have and worked out fine.

the amount depends on how you like your stuffing, moist or drier, just remember not to put to much at start, you can always add more later.
pull all the meat of the chicken then boil the carcass in water with some seasoning for about 1 hour , sieve the liquid then reduce it to about 1/2, this should do the job
Try making up chicken stock cube to half recommended amount. Might not be right amount but increase or decrease amount liquid as required
Not really because boullion is watery like stock and broth is more of a soup. It will change the entire consistency of the recipe
Yes, adjust the seasoning, salt, adding in fresh parsley, some thyme, fresh herbs, and just use that as you would with your bouillion, as the cubes are mostly salt, dried parsley and concentrated chicken stock. You won't get quite the same flavor, but it will be very, very close.
Only if you shred the can
No, the chicken broth will contain some milk or milk substitute which can only be added at a late cooking stage and bouillon is to be added most likely at the start. Bouillon can be made from a chicken stock cube and boiling water if you don't have time to boil bones and herbs.
