Stuffing Recipe without onions or celery?

I am looking for a stuffing recipe that I can make for Thanksgiving that does not have any onions or celery in it. I have a family member that is allergic to it. They said that they are ok with onion power or celery seed, so I was thinking of maybe somehow substituting them, but am not sure how that would work. If anyone has an ideas or any recipes, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!Stuffing Recipe without onions or celery?
You don't have to add onions and celery - a lot of people add those for contrast in texture...try adding sliced water chestnuts or chopped apples and nuts....I have used all of those, and they work beautifully. Or try something different all together, like a sausage stuffing, or cornbread stuffing. Heck, skip the stuffing and make 2 kinds of potatoes instead! Trust me - people will love that you went all out and cooked, and they will especially love that you took their needs into consideration...getting everyone together is what it's really about!Stuffing Recipe without onions or celery?
Make a box of chicken rice-a-roni.

Prepare a bag of stuffing.

Broiwn 1 lb breakfast sausage, break into small pieces.

Mix everything together and add 1 can of chicken or turkey gravy.

Either bake or stuff bird and enjoy.
I like mine with walnuts and either dried cranberries or bits of real apples.
My mom makes a great stuffing with apples, sausage %26amp; raisins in it. The sausage has so much flavor, you don't need onions, and the apples take the place of celery.

She tears up french bread into chunks, soaks with chicken broth. Cooks bulk sausage till it's almost done, adds the apple, cut up into little chunks, then adds the raisins (optional) last. Mix in a big bowl with your hands or wooden spoons. Stuffs the bird with some %26amp; cooks the rest in a baking dish at 375 for about 45 minutes.
Try this one and take the onions and celery out.
